Manifest 01 / 03
From pickup to proof of delivery — every checkpoint logged.
Whatever you're shipping — a vehicle, a container of freight, a personal parcel, or bulk commercial goods — it moves through the same disciplined chain of custody. Here's exactly what happens behind each manifest code.
The Process
Five stages, one manifest number
Booking & manifest creation
When you consign a shipment — whether it's a vehicle, a pallet of freight, or a single parcel — we open a manifest record and issue a unique tracking code in the format SEL-XXXXXX-XX. The suffix identifies the category: VH for vehicles, FR for general freight, PA for personal parcels, and BK for bulk goods.
At this stage we record sender and receiver city, item details (make/model for vehicles, weight and container for freight, etc.), and an initial estimated delivery date.
Origin pickup & inspection
Your shipment is received at our origin warehouse, depot, or port terminal. Vehicles are inspected and photographed for condition; freight and bulk goods are weighed and matched against the manifest; parcels are scanned into our sortation system.
Checkpoint scanning in transit
Every hand-off — loading onto a vessel or aircraft, arrival at a transshipment hub, departure from a port — is scanned and timestamped against your manifest code. This is what populates the live timeline you see when you search a tracking code.
Customs & documentation
Shipments crossing a border pass through customs clearance. This stage can take longer than transit itself, especially for vehicles and bulk goods, so we flag it clearly on your timeline rather than leaving you guessing why the status hasn't moved.
Final dispatch & delivery confirmation
Once cleared, your shipment goes out for final delivery to the receiving city. The last checkpoint on your timeline is marked complete only once delivery is confirmed at the destination.
